What a great experience it was last weekend to join a band of other skilled craftsman in Bridgeport for one single cause... to build an access ramp for little Davina Martins. The pool of talent to show up for this event was truly impressive.

Home Evaluations for Accessible Living Solutions PDF Print E-mail

In order to provide our customers with the remodeling services that will best serve their short and long-term needs, we often refer to a simple checklist based on the routine activities of daily living.

Basic ADLs include eating, dressing, getting into or out of a bed or chair, taking a bath or shower, and using the toilet. Instrumental activities of daily living (IADL) are activities related to independent living and include preparing meals, managing money, shopping, doing housework, and using a telephone.

Important: Since we are not medical experts, we encourage all home evaluations to be performed by, or in collaboration with, an Occupational Therapist or other health care professional who is familiar with the specifics of a client’s current and projected conditions.

Quote of the Day
